That bouquet would have made my day - any day - as well! It is gorgeous.Rugby with your beloved? Sounds like a great Valentine's Day celebration when paired with a bottle of bubbly. Enjoy!
As he hadn't popped by the garage, it was a very welcome surprise, Pondside. Now for the rugby...
They're beautiful. What a lovely surprise.I'd almost forgotten that today was Valentine's Day, then my son and his partner called to see us and brought me a beautiful bunch of carnations and red roses. It made my day too.
I bought my spouse flowers too. R
2 out of 3's not bad! (and perhaps you're a rugby fan as well, and you've got a very lucky 3/3!) Gorgeous flowers!
Lovely surprises like that make Valentines Day special.
Marianne, your Valentine's Day Sunday sounds sublime. Even with the rugby. xo
how lovely! No flowers here, but he baked me a chocolate cake instead. More calories than flowers, but quite original!
That is a stunning bouquet. Very nice. Any signs of spring in your region? If not, those flowers will hold you over for a while! :)
I used to think I never won anything, but just recently my luck has changed. The flowers are just getting better as they open up in the warmth of the kitchen. Thanks for dropping by.
That arrangement in the jar is perfect.
Hello Marianne. The flowers are lovely and the arrangement beautiful. I do love your dogs as well!
What a lovely surprise for Valentine's Day! Your beautiful bouquet must have made even rugby seem romantic!xPoppy
Ah well,Poppy, my first love was a rugby player so my memories of standing on the touch line in all weathers are very much associated with romance. Actually I do enjoy a good game of rugby though, when it flows and the teams are well matched.
Champagne and rugby, a perfect combination, and delightfully quirky.
